Boothstrip is built so that your photos stay on your device. This page explains exactly what that means, and what it does not.
Photos never leave your device
The camera, the filters, the strip layout and the download all run inside your browser. There is no upload step, because there is no server that receives photos. We cannot see your pictures, and we have nowhere to store them even if we wanted to.
You can verify this the direct way: open your browser’s network tab while you use the tool. You will see requests for the page itself and for the two web fonts, which come from a service called Fontshare. Those requests carry the usual metadata a browser sends (IP address, browser version) and no information about your photos. Nothing else leaves your browser.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. Specifically: no account and no sign-up, so we never hold your name, email address or phone number. No tracking cookies. No third-party analytics. No advertising networks. No fingerprinting.
The tools are free and supported without any of that. If it ever changes — if we add analytics or advertising — this page will be updated first, the date at the bottom will change, and the section above will say exactly what was added and why.
Your rights
Data protection rules such as the GDPR and CCPA give you the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a service holds about you.
Since we hold none, there is nothing to request — the rights are satisfied by the design rather than by a process. If you believe we hold something about you anyway, email us and we will look into it.
Children
The tools are suitable for all ages and collect no personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
