Layouts

A photo grid layout for every set of photos

2x2 grid

Four square cells, two by two. The default for sets of four: a season, a trip, a group of friends.

2-up grid

Two square cells side by side. Built for pairs: before and after, the two of you, the cover and the detail.

Strip layouts

Switch to 4-cut or 3-cut any time when the photos work better stacked as a classic photo booth strip.

Where grids fit

Photo grids for Instagram posts and printed sets

Square social posts

The square export drops straight into an Instagram post or profile album without cropping.

Printed mini sets

Print a 2x2 grid on photo paper and cut along the gaps for four square keepsakes.

Consistent series

Same filter, same border, same gap across weeks makes a photo journal look intentional.

Questions, answered

Photo grid maker FAQ

What is a 2x2 photo grid?+

A 2x2 grid places four photos in two rows and two columns of square cells. It is the standard layout for pairing prints, before-and-after sets and square social posts.

Can I make a grid with fewer photos than the layout has frames?+

Yes. Pick fewer frames than you uploaded and the photos repeat across the frames, the same way a photo booth reprints shots. You can also retake or replace any single frame.

What size is the finished photo grid?+

Grids export at 1200 pixels wide. The 2x2 layout comes out close to square, with the exact height depending on your border, gap and caption bar settings. The download is a watermark-free PNG or JPG.

Do my photos get uploaded to make the grid?+

No. Photos are read and composed in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
