Boothstrip works on iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows without an app download. Open the free online photo booth, allow camera access, and the booth is ready for a four-shot sequence. If you already have the photos, use the photo strip maker instead.
How to use a photo booth on iPhone
- Open Boothstrip in Safari or another current mobile browser.
- Tap the camera option and choose Allow when iOS asks for permission.
- Keep the phone steady, frame the group, and use the countdown for each shot.
- Choose a filter and layout, then download the finished strip to Photos.
How to use it on a laptop
- Open the site in Chrome, Safari or Edge over HTTPS.
- Allow the browser to use the built-in webcam when prompted.
- Use the preview to check lighting and position before the countdown starts.
- Download the PNG or JPG when the strip looks right.
No camera? Upload photos instead
Camera permissions are optional. Select upload mode, choose up to four images from your phone or computer, and make the same strip with the same filters and layouts. This is useful for old camera roll photos, screenshots and images sent by friends.
Fix common camera problems
- The prompt never appeared: check the browser site settings and turn Camera on, then reload.
- The preview is black: close other apps using the camera and confirm the correct camera is selected.
- The image is sideways: rotate the phone upright before starting, or use upload mode and rotate a frame in the editor.
- The browser is unsupported: update Safari, Chrome or Edge before trying again.
Your photos stay on your device
Boothstrip processes camera frames and uploaded images locally in the browser. Nothing needs to be uploaded to make a strip or apply a filter.
